How to add vocal effects to a track

Step by step

   Open your file

   Load the track you want to work on in the studio.

   Start from a preset

   Pick a vocal preset as a starting point so you can hear the kind of result quickly.

   Open advanced settings

   Reveal the vocal effect controls for chorus, flanger and doubling depth.

   Dial in the amount

   Increase the depth for a thicker, wider voice, or keep it low for a subtle lift. Rerun to hear each change.

   Optional: isolate the vocal first

   Turn on stem separation so the effect targets only the vocal and leaves the instruments clean.

   Transform and download

   Run the transform, check the result in the player, and export it as an MP3 or WAV.

Tips

• A little doubling goes a long way. Too much can smear the timing of the words.
• Isolating the vocal with stem separation gives a much cleaner result than processing the full mix.
• Pair vocal effects with a touch of stereo widening for a bigger sound.
