How to anonymize a voice in a recording
If you need to share a recording without revealing who is speaking, Morpha can transform the identifying characteristics of a voice while keeping the speech understandable. Because it runs locally, the sensitive recording never leaves your device.
Step by step
- 1Open the recording
Load the audio you want to anonymize in the studio. Nothing is uploaded, so it stays private.
- 2Select voice anonymize
Choose the voice anonymization option.
- 3Set the strength
Increase the strength for a bigger change in voice identity. Keep it moderate to preserve clarity.
- 4Transform
Run the process and let Morpha reshape the voice.
- 5Check clarity
Play the result and make sure the words are still clear. Adjust the strength and rerun if needed.
- 6Download
Export the anonymized recording as an MP3 or WAV.
Tips
- Test the result by asking whether you would recognize the speaker from the processed audio alone.
- Very high strength changes the voice more but can reduce clarity, so find a balance.
- Since processing is local, the original recording is never sent anywhere.
Try it now. Open the studio and follow along with your own file.
