Is my audio uploaded to a server?
No. Morpha runs entirely in your browser. Your file is decoded, processed and encoded on your own device, and it never leaves it. There is no upload, no queue and no server copy.
Is it free to use?
Yes. The studio is free to use in a modern browser. Because everything runs locally, there are no per-file costs.
What audio formats can I open?
You can open MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, M4A, AAC and WebM. The result is exported as an MP3, or WAV if you prefer an uncompressed file.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation is required. Morpha is a website. Open it in a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari and you are ready to go.
Which browser works best?
Any modern browser works. For the optional stem separation step, a browser with WebGPU (recent Chrome or Edge) is fastest, but there is a WebAssembly fallback that runs everywhere.
What is stem separation and why is the first run slow?
Stem separation splits a mix into vocals and instruments so effects can target just one part. The separation model is about 290 MB and downloads once on first use, then it is cached by your browser for later.
Does processing change the length of my track?
Tempo changes and padding options can change the length. If you keep tempo at its original value and leave padding off, the duration stays the same.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, the studio is responsive and works on mobile browsers. Large files and the optional separation model are more demanding, so a desktop is more comfortable for heavy work.
